The first thing you recognize is the beautiful old stone building - an old mansion to be correct - with 4 floors in total. The garden unit hosts a coffee shop and the restaurant itself spreads over the rest of the remaining 3 floors. We got seated right away on the 3rd floor, which is cozy with great architectual features and only a few tables. Our server was very friendly and we chatted for a little while about Sunny Side Up. He served us coffee - deliciously strong by the way - while we were browsing the menu. The menu has lots of good breakfast, brunch and sandwich choices - there will be something for everyone! We opted to share a bagel with smoked salmon and the flaxseed pancakes with bananas and fresh berries. Everything came right out and tasted great. I really enjoyed the atmosphere at Sunny Side Up and appreciate that they kept the old architecture- a perfect place to catch up over some good breakfast or brunch. As of right now they do not open for dinner.
After brunch, we stopped by the coffee shop downstairs and I grabbed a coffee to go - really cute place as well.
Our server also told me that you can rent Sunny Side Up for events, matter of fact, there was an event going on on the 4th floor while we were there.
Unfortunately they do not have a website yet, but you can find Sunny Side Up on Facebook for more information:
